Doing What is Right

I guess you are seeing a theme in my posts at the beginning of July.

We should be patriotic throughout the year, but celebrating our nation for Independence Day brings it to the forefront. As we hear the words to our National Anthem and hear the fireworks going off, it gives us just a small vision and understanding that our freedom isn’t free.

We should cherish and protect those freedoms. We should think carefully and wisely when choosing our leaders. We should pray that those that have brought the “moral rot” we see in our country today, are brought to light. We should pray that true and lasting change takes place in their lives.

I personally want those that are wise and have the knowledge needed for the job to be making important decisions. I want them to love God and to have a love for our country above all else. I want them to desire to do what is right.
