Deep Waters

When a person goes through “deep waters” it is a time of chaos, confusion and uncertainty. For instance. when Moses led the Israelites THROUGH the Red Sea, there was surely chaos, confusion and uncertainty. But what they found in the middle of that “deep water” was provision and safety. God did not abandon them in the middle of their storm … quite the opposite.
He will not abandon you. And if you are in a right relationship with Him, it is almost as if you hear him whisper, “I got you”.
Today’s verse is a good one to add to memory to help you during those times. They WILL come. Notice it says “when” not “if” you go through the various difficult and sometimes horrible times of life. Guess who is always there?
Find those scriptures that resonate the faithfulness of God and put those to memory. While you are learning them, write them in the front flap of your Bible. True, it is the Holy Bible, but you can still place things that help you inside there. My Bible is all marked up and highlighted. I love it. These words in our Bible were given to us to help us in our daily walk with Jesus.
Our Bible is not meant to stay pristine with the pages still sticking together. It is meant to be used over and over again and maybe even marked up a bit. Hear the Lord talk to you through those pages.
Isaiah 43:2 NLT
When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
