Confidence Instead of Fear

Last year Bobby and I flew out of Nashville, and it was the first in a very long time for me to be up in the air. I have never been a fan of flying, so I was already a little on the nervous side of things.
After we took off, the pilot got on the speaker to inform us we would be changing our altitude to be above the storm that we were about to pass by. I was like, “great” a storm! I had no choice but to put my trust in the guy flying the plane. He knew that being in a storm was not fatal if he did the right things, those things he was trained to do.
I made sure I did my part by buckling up, saying a prayer (and closing my eyes ha). There was still a little bit of turbulence, but all in all everything went well. The pilot kept us above the storm.
Feeling safe, knowing that the pilot was trained and knew to take us above the storm, caused my nerves to change to confidence that everything would be fine. Feeling safe and knowing the One who keeps us safe is so important in living a victorious life.
We can face all of our fears in confidence knowing our Heavenly Father is with us to help us make correct decisions whatever the storm. One thing for sure, we have the ability through Him, to stay above those storms.
There is no need to give in and let our problems overtake us. In today's scripture, we are made aware that our strength and our victory is from our God, our Peace and our Encourager.
Isaiah 41:10 NLT
[10] Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
