Changing Try to Trust

One of the things that seems to be difficult for most of us is this relenting of control. I will be the first to admit having times of difficulty in letting go and allowing God to do His perfect work. Why is it we think we can do things better than Him? What a silly notion.

When we try and try to be this perfect Christian, and fail time and time again, you would think we would come to the realization it is time (actually past time) to trust God and His Word. He knows the end from the beginning.

I could fret over what I’m not getting right and lose sleep over mistakes…or I could relax and breathe in the assurance that my victory comes from the One who knows it all. How much better life would be without the fear of needing to justify actions. It would be so much better to not do or say those things in the first place.

Quit trying to be this rock for yourself and everyone else. That will absolutely “wear you out”!! Do you know who is supposed to be the rock? Do you know…really KNOW who is supposed to be the safe barrier for you against your enemies?

It will do well for all of us to learn patience and how to be quiet enough to listen to Gods voice. If we are always striving and trying to do it all in our own strength, we can miss some sweet moments of peaceful calm in our heart and soul.

Psalm 62:1-2 NLT

[1] I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. [2] He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
