Celebrate With Others

I love to be with others and celebrate their successes. I happened to share a birthday with my sister-in-law. We are 10 years apart in age and have been able to celebrate our birthday together for the past couple of years. I turned 72 on this birthday, meaning she turned 82. Each year that we celebrate our birthday is a success.

As we get older, we begin to realize the importance of times shared with others. Those times should never be taken for granted. The scripture says to rejoice with those that rejoice. It also says to weep with those that weep. I know that someday there will be weeping for those that will no longer be with us.

Until that time comes, I plan to be aware of those that need celebrating and take the time to do just that. Even in the sorrowful time we have a promise...Jesus has a way of turning our weeping into joy.

Romans 12:15

Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
