But It Seems Okay to Me

Ever stubbed your toe on something that was left out in the middle of the floor? Ouch! I have. And usually, the first words out of my mouth are, “Who left that there?” (And possibly some other mild expletives) Did someone intentionally leave this there for your harm? No! But you were still hurt.
Maybe you’re out with some friends and decide to have a glass of wine. In your mind, the wine is innocent enough (after all, it is just one glass-no getting “drunk”). You would be right, except someone who has difficulty stopping at one is either in your group or is observing. That is when the stumbling block or harm occurs. This is by no means my way of condemning anyone for a glass of wine. I could use the same analogy with tempting someone with a buffet of their favorite foods when they have a problem with overeating.
The point is that we should always be aware that what we do can affect others in a negative or a positive way. Don’t condemn others but live in a way that helps those around you. Never be the reason someone stumbles and falls.
Romans 14:13 NLT
[13] So let's stop condemning each other. Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not cause another believer to stumble and fall. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
