But I'm Not Strong Like You

Well, let me tell you…that strength you may see in me, or others didn’t just happen. It took mistakes, stumbles, denials and just down right stubbornness of trying to fix things on my own; to finally realize I could NOT have an abundant life in my own strength.
Back in the day, Helen Reddy had a song out with the line, “I am woman, watch me roar”. Well, I could have roared all I wanted and still never have filled the hole that only God could fill. I had to know and understand that God and only God had given me everything I needed to live and act right. It would have been foolish of me to continue to be stubborn and not access the power that comes from Him.
Don’t make things difficult. Because they don’t have to be. Quit trying to be strong on your own. Sure, you’ve made some mistakes but thank God those are forgiven when you ask. You can live a fulfilling life starting today. You really do have all you need in Him to accomplish that.
2 Peter 1:3 NLT
[3] By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
