Well, well well! Paula is getting all up in my “bidness” again. Haha. Hang on to your hat! She’s just getting started! Haha
When we think of 4 letter words, in a negative way, busy doesn’t usually come to mind, but we are gonna refer to it in that way today. Some people are just TOO busy which turns into being busy for busy sake. Another words busyness.
If I did an acrostic of busyness, it would be something like…” Being Unnecessarily Stressed Yields Negative Stupid Stuff. “How’s that for off the cuff? Ha. But it’s true. When you start to feel as though there are just not enough hours in the day to complete all you have signed up for, check to see if the busyness acrostic applies. We all have the same amount of “time” in a day. There is never going to be any hours added to our daily 24.
I also included lazy in the meme. That is a definite no-no as well. Laying around eating bonbons and watching reruns on TV is getting you nowhere fast. Your day is gone with nothing accomplished that amounts to anything that benefits you or anyone else.
Let’s start being a good kind of busy. Let’s start doing something productive today.
And remember to do everything as if you are doing it for the Lord. When you do things for Him, it is never useless.
I didn’t say you stay too busy doing these things. You are not “called “to do everything that comes up, no matter how much you “think” you have “time” for it.
This is why there are many parts of the body of Christ (the church) -they all have their part to play. Don’t take someone else’s blessing and be the Christian “hero” causing unnecessary stress and busyness.
Live your life, and “as you go” be a blessing, help others and yes, do things for the Lord. Stay away from the unnecessary stressful stuff.
1 Corinthians 15:58 NLT
[58] So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
