Belief in a Sure Thing

It is so easy to get caught up in the emotions of a situation. What you see with your eyes can seem so overwhelming and insurmountable.

It’s as if you are looking through a hole in the side of a fence and seeing only what is in front of you. If you could start seeing the whole instead of the partial picture, life could be better for you.

What I mean is you can’t be so affected by what you see that you allow your faith to slip into unbelief and doubt. You must be willing to be a person of faith no matter what. Keep in mind that someone without faith can’t see beyond their present circumstance.

Life changes daily. One day you are high and dry in your home, and the next day your roof is leaking. Did God change in His care and love for you? No! His promises to light your way never changes. Your circumstances change, but He doesn’t.

He is always “greatly to be praised” because He has done great things and will continue to do them. He is the One that gives strength and rest to the tired (or the sick and tired).

His ways are perfect, and I for one am glad He is my guide in this unpredictable world. I refuse to be moved by what I see or hear.

Psalm 18:30,32 NLT

[30] God's way is perfect. All the LORD's promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. [32] God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
