Being Rich in Wisdom

Most times when we think of being blessed, we think of material things such as money, possessions and relationships. All of these can be a huge part of being blessed and having all that you need. What if you have many of those things, yet are “dumb as a rock” (so to speak)? Life would still be kinda difficult. Right?
If you lack in the wisdom skills, making decisions of any sort is challenging. You have a tough time ever knowing if you’re going in the right direction or taking the wrong path.
The scripture today gives us the answer to this dilemma. Ask God (who is very generous, by the way) and He will help you and give you the wisdom necessary for any situation you might encounter. Let’s not miss the last part of that verse, “He will not rebuke (criticize) you for asking.” We all need to get into our (sometimes thick) head that God is wanting to bless us with ALL that we need. This blessing includes money, relationships, possessions and yes wisdom. These are all fundamental to a really blessed life.
You should want this for yourself and those you care about. We are blessed, not just for ourselves, but we are blessed to be a blessing.
James 1:5 NLT
[5] If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.
