Being Made Whole

There is a woman in the Bible that had to be so discouraged in her life. She had a problem that had plagued her for over 12 years. Imagine bleeding that long without a break. Back in the day, I thought a week was a long time. But imagine “12 years” …I would be so over it and ready to be back to my normal self.

This woman had spent lots of money, seen lots of doctors and was over it. She was ostracized by the community and realized “this was her life” unless there was a miracle.

She had heard of Jesus and when she became aware He was coming through her village, she “knew in her heart” she must get to Him. The news of the miracles of Jesus had travelled throughout and she believed He could and would help her situation.

Her belief was so strong, she ignored what seemed impossible, and made that move to touch the hem of His robe. When she did, she not only was healed of the issue of blood but was made whole.

What has happened to you is not an impossible situation. It may look like it to everyone else around you, but to those who believe, it is all doable. He doesn’t want things to “sort of be okay” …He wants you whole in all areas of your life.

Don’t give up! Take a step of faith toward the One who knows you and wants you whole. Have the belief like the woman who touched Jesus' robe. Know that He can do more than we could even think or ask of Him.

Ephesians 3:20 NKJV
