Being a Good Person

Our devotion today is not to “throw shade” on anyone or anything. It is just to remind all of us the importance of how we “walk and talk” …The importance of being an example to others. Not just any example but be one that draws them to Jesus.

There are so many that need our example of living a life of integrity and joy. There is so much deception and downright evil things that go on around us, we need to be the kind of folks that rise above that. We need to be good people.

When Bobby and I meet someone or a group of folks that show love and respect to us we will say exactly that, “those are good people!” They are living that “good” life that goes beyond their own abilities. It comes from a relationship with the One who is Love.

So as you live your life be aware of others and help them see their worth. Love on them and be a person worth following. Draw them to Jesus.

1 Peter 2:15, 17 TPT

[15] For it is God's will for you to silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing what is right. [17] Recognize the value of every person and continually show love to every believer.
