Gosh, life can be so hard and even extremely frustrating at times. Sometimes you feel as though you can’t catch a break. A lot of us just accept that as our lot in life and throw in the towel.

What if…


We decided to turn things around by taking the focus off of us and our problems.


What if…


We figure out ways to bless other people. We use our talents and the resources we’re blessed with to give others a break in their lives. We realize there are those in our sphere of influence that are hanging by a thread, and you could be their only hope.


And because they are hurting so bad, they turn around and hurt other people (sometimes without even realizing that’s what they are doing) Even if they are intentionally hurting you, don’t make it your mission to hurt them back. That’s a “back and forth” you should avoid at all costs.


We could throw up our hands and say, “you made this bed, lie in it” or…we could figure out a way to bless them unexpectedly.


The Bible says as we bless others, we are in turn blessed. It may not be from the one hurting you, (they are focused on their hurt). Nonetheless, you WILL be blessed in ways you can’t even imagine. God is good that way.


Proverbs 11:25 NLT
