Becoming All

Two steps forward and three steps back. Does that describe anyone else’s walk with God? Sometimes we find ourselves struggling to stay on that path to spiritual maturity.

We will be going good and then out of nowhere there is an attack on our home/family. We then get in that “fight or flight” position. We start throwing “shade” on anyone and everyone.

We have to remember where that attack originated. It sure isn’t from God like many will tell you. God will definitely see you through it, but He didn’t send it.

Even Paul admitted he didn’t know everything yet. He was instead living his life looking forward to when he was finally “all” Christ intended for him to be.

That should strengthen our confidence in our own future. We have so much more to learn about this walk with the Lord and our becoming all He desires us to be.

Keep taking those two steps forward and resist the three steps back. Stay in the Word and keep learning.
