Be Thankful, Not Bitter

Relationships can be tricky. On the one hand you love the other person so much and then on the other they can drive you nuts. When you have an argument with someone you love, does things feel all warm and fuzzy in your life? I would say arguing is not the best way to go about your day to day. If this is left unchecked, bitterness can start to destroy what could be a great partnership.
I am going to suggest something that may seem weird, but I think can be effective (I’m saying this to me too). When you are tempted to allow a situation to steal the peace in your life, stop it in its tracks and give thanks for those involved. Start praying for those that you would normally lose your temper with.
Pray for yourself too. Pray that you react the way you should. You should want the words that you say and what you think be acceptable to the Lord. That should be your goal. With Gods help all things are possible to those that believe.
No matter the circumstances, we are instructed to be thankful. This includes for those folks that give us difficulty.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 NLT
[18] Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
