If you are a parent of more than one child (or aunt/uncle to more than one), then you’ve seen how everyone has their own unique personality and abilities. Even though these kiddos are raised in the same household, with the same parents, they are totally different.

Does it change how much you love them? Absolutely not. But it does change in how you encourage them. You want them to turn out to be respectful and responsible adults one day, using the gifts and talents with which they’ve been blessed.

You do your best as a parent (however flawed that may be) to help each individual child to be the best teacher, worship leader, preacher, singer, business leader, entrepreneur, spouse, parent, communicator, etc. (the list can go on and on because everyone is different).

Let us never be guilty of accusing someone of being “stupid” because they don’t have the same ability as someone else. Maybe that wasn’t meant to be their “lot in life”.

For example: a fish isn’t supposed to climb trees, but they can swim like nobody’s business.

Encourage others (the “fish”) in your life and build them up. Never tear them down period.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 NASB95

[11] Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
