Bad to Better

No one is automatically good. Even as innocent babies, we have that selfishness of “I want it and I want it now” sort of attitude. But what I want to emphasize today is not the bad, but how bad can be changed into better. Not just better … but great.
There are different degrees of improvement needed in people’s lives. Some have lived a life that would embarrass even the biggest of sinners. Then others have lived a lifetime of being the “perfect” Christian and yet find themselves falling into a mess they don’t even understand how they got there. There is a story of hope in these that could help other people.
I love to see “before and after” pictures of home redesigns. Those pictures tell a story of the way it was to what it is now. And I love to hear the stories of those that were in what seemed like a hopeless situation, but because of God it all turned around.
Sometimes out of embarrassment or shame, folks don’t want to tell their story. Sometimes they just want to continue to allow others to see only the finished product.
But hear this … that story is not really unique to you. Someone right now is needing to hear how God took your life and “did something with it.” They need to know that when you love God and want His purpose in your life, He will work things out to your good. They need to know that if God is for them, NOTHING can really be against them.
Your redemption story can help them in realizing … He GAVE His son for them. If He was willing to go as far as giving His son in their stead, don’t ya think He is willing to help them with everything else in their lives?
Tell your story!!
Romans 8:28,31-32 NLT
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. [31] What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? [32] Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won't he also give us everything else? #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
