Are You Full of Hot Air

Do ya know anyone, that when they open their mouth and speak, ya just know that they are “full of hot air”? Boy, I sure do! That is what is meant when someone says, “They are full of it!”

When someone has learned all the “religious” jargon and has figured out how to “talk a good game”, they are actually in deep dangerous water. The scripture says they are self-deceived. And I will add that they are hurting others. Most times they are the most miserable of everyone around, because they know in their heart that they are not what they claim to be.
The idea that someone can claim to be a Christian but live their life in such a way that is contrary to how Jesus taught, is just plain wrong. You reflect what is in your heart. If you have allowed the world to infiltrate your life, that is what you reflect, no matter what you say.
Let’s stop all this “religious” talk and start living what we believe. If you say, “I’m fine, I’ll live my life however “I” want to, it’s “my” life!” … you should remember that you are known by your fruit. What are others seeing? Did you just go through the motions when you made the confession of your faith? You need to “know that you know” you truly made a change in your life because you believed in Jesus and confessed Him as your Lord and Savior.
Don’t just turn over a new leaf, reflect that new person in Christ that you are meant to be.
James 1:26 MSG
“Anyone who sets himself up as "religious" by talking a good game is self-deceived. This kind of religion is hot air and only hot air.” #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
