The 1st step in your Christian life is to become right with God. This is done by believing in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God and that He came to die for our sins so that we could become right with Him. Jesus, who never sinned became sin for us. He was raised from the dead giving us victory over death, hell and the grave.

The 2nd step is to tell others of your faith. This confirms this experience to others and solidifies it for yourself. I love how the scriptures say, “no one who believes in Christ will ever be disappointed.” If you ever feel disappointed, that’s on you. Disappointment’s source is not the Lord.

Don’t forget the 3rd step. The Bible tells us to “study to show yourself approved”. Why? It is through studying the scriptures and applying what you learn that real growth happens in your life. This is how your mindset is changed from defeat to victory. This is how sorrow is turned to joy. This is how you have hope when there seems to be no hope. This is how your relationships are changed. This is where you learn to love like God loves.

If you are a hearer and not a doer, this just means you are not applying the truths you have found in the Bible. You can’t “apply the Word” to your life if you don’t know what it says. You have to take the time to study.

We are told in 2 Thes 3 , verse 5…”May the Lord bring you into an ever deeper understanding of the love of God…” If this is what you desire…God will give you the understanding needed for anything you face.

The answers are in the scriptures. Find them and apply them and watch your life transform.

[10] For it is by believing in his heart that a man becomes right with God; and with his mouth he tells others of his faith, confirming his salvation. [11] For the Scriptures tell us that no one who believes in Christ will ever be disappointed. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
