An Amazing Gift

It’s that time of the year again, when most people are scrambling to decide the perfect gift to give to someone (or many someones lol) they love. The Christmas season, among other things, is known for the giving and receiving of gifts.

When you receive a gift, it is wrapped and you have no idea what’s inside until you open it. That is the excitement and wonder of it all. As the giver, you are excited and wonder if when it is opened, what you have given will be loved as much as you loved giving it.

You guys!!!! God has given us the most amazing gift…SAVING GRACE. We didn’t have to have the best behavior to receive it. We didn’t have to do a whole bunch of good deeds to earn it. If that were the case, we would have bragging rights for it, and it would no longer be a gift. It would be more of a payment for work done.

What should you do with this gift?

Simply open this amazing gift of salvation and receive the contents through believing in Jesus and all He has done. Believe He was born as the Son of God through a virgin on that first Christmas morning. Believe He lived a sinless life and died for us on the cross. Believe that He came out of the grave on the third day giving us hope. Believe He is coming again.

The contents are yours. Life and life more abundant. A life worth living. A blessed life filled with the fruit of the Spirit. A life filled with Love and Peace.

Amen to all of that!

Ephesians 2:8-9 NLT

[8] God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. [9] Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
