All Day Every Day

Have you ever noticed in television shows or movies, when things aren’t going quite right in someone’s life, you see them enter a church to pray and be close to God? I realize that there is something peaceful and safe about being in a sanctuary. By definition, sanctuary is considered a refuge or protection from danger.

What happens when you leave this place and face the outside challenges?

You have to be prepared to deal with the things that happen outside those walls. You have to understand that the walls of the church or sanctuary is not where God lives. If you have trusted Him as your Lord and Savior, He lives inside you. His dwelling place is within every believer.

What this means to you is up to you. You should become aware of His presence all day every day. It should determine how you handle the day. Will you say, “I’ll be sure to pray about that next Sunday at church” … Or will you talk to God about it right then and there?

All you do every day should honor God … Not just “Sunday go to meeting” day.

1 Chronicles 16:11 AMPC

Seek the Lord and His strength; yearn for and seek His face and to be in His presence continually!

1 Corinthians 10:31 AMPC

So then, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you may do, do all for the honor and glory of God.
