Act Right

Who do you want to emulate in your life? Is there someone that you admire and is a true follower of Jesus that you wish you were more like? They are successful and enthusiastic with a heart for others.

As you watch their lives, you begin to see why their life is different. This is where the “action “(acting) begins. You decide to do what they do and say what they say. Follow their example of strong faith and endurance in all situations.

Denzel Washington is one of my favorite actors. I think he is one of the best in taking on his role and making it so believable. From what I know about him, he is a good person too. (That is why I used his picture as my actor example)

An actor studies the character he will portray on the screen. He learns the way they speak, walk and really just everything about that person. He knows them so well, that in a sense, he basically “becomes” who he is portraying. It doesn’t just happen. He had to do his homework, study the script and then act it out.

Do your due diligence in studying the scriptures and then act it out. Follow those that God has placed in your life. And then in turn be a good example for others to follow. Don’t ever allow yourself to become dull and boring.
