We’ve heard it said, “If I only knew then what I know now, my life would be so different!”

As we age we start to admit that we never “knew it all” as we perceived we did as a young person. Back then we seemed to think we were “really something” when we actually were pretty dumb about a lot of things. We were acting like, as some would say, “we were a know it all and were a little too big for our britches!”

It takes a few years under our belt to know and also understand the things going on around us. We have had to rely on the scriptures to give us the strength needed to face situations that many younger folks haven’t had to deal with yet in their life.

There is a lot of wisdom that comes with age. If you think you are too old to contribute to this world, smash that thought. Your witness of how the Lord has been your strength and protection is so important for the next generation to hear.

You may have some gray hair and a catch in your “get along” from time to time, but you are still needed.

Psalm 71:7 NLT

[7] My life is an example to many, because you have been my strength and protection. #helpforyourdailywalk #paulaandthebible
