You Can Depend on His Word

The certainty that life can be uncertain is quite the conundrum for many people in recent days. It echos back to a previous devotional about who to trust.

I am reminded of an old Andre Crouch song this morning.

“Through it all

Through it all

I've learned to trust in Jesus

I've learned to trust in God

Through it all

Through it all

I've learned to depend upon His word.”

I want to reassure you that the Lord is dependable. His word is dependable because it is true. In John 17:17 we read, “Your Word is truth.”

The above song “Through it All” has the line, “For if I never had a problem

I wouldn't know that He could solve them. And I wouldn't know what faith in God could do.” These temporary problems are small in God’s eyes. He created the heavens and the earth and everything in it by His Word. He can handle our problems. He is true to His Word; He is faithful, and He loves righteousness and justice.

We will see the goodness of the Lord in coming days. He is our rock and our shield. He is our redeemer.
