The End Result

What was the end result that Abram saw when the Lord was explaining how He would bless him? He saw that his future would be one that would affect not only him, but generations to come. He wouldn’t be able to count all the descendants that would come through him. What an amazing outcome!

What made it even more amazing was the fact that he was old and his wife was old. They were way past what is considered “childbearing” years. How in the world could something like his even happen? But notice that Abram believed the Lord and his journey began. I’m sure he had questions, but he didn’t dwell on those. He had to put his focus on and believe Gods promise.

We often have something that we are trying to accomplish and get discouraged when it hasn’t happened quite yet. Maybe we need to change our focus away from all the difficulties that keep popping up. Maybe we need to start seeing things the way God sees them.

If you begin to focus on His plan for your life, He will show you His blessings that are really too many to count. The end result will be amazing!!

Genesis 15:5-6 NLT
