Taking Action-Don't Wait

Remember in school we were taught about “action words”. I want to emphasize an action word today…the word “SEEK”. Some synonyms for seek are, “look for; search or pursue.” Why would you actively search for something? You know the only way what you are wanting is findable, is to continue to pursue. If you give up on the “seeking” - the “finding” will elude you.
Never give up on the Lord. It is an urgent plea in today’s verse. We are told to seek the Lord “while he may be found”. This implies that there may be a time when it is more difficult to hear the leading of the Lord. This is one of those times when procrastination can really make a big impact on your life and mind. You could miss out on something amazing.
The thing to remember is, the Lord is merciful. He has compassion for everyone that is ready to change their ways. Those who want to discontinue doing bad stuff should come to Him and ask for forgiveness and receive God into their lives. He is not only ready to forgive, but to forgive generously.
I’ve witnessed how folks can be changed in an instant by seeking forgiveness and receiving it. A life that was once weighed down with all sorts of vices, can be changed in a total surrender to the Lord.
You take action in the seeking, asking & receiving and the Lord will take action in the forgiving. Don’t wait!
Isaiah 55:6-7 NLT
[6] Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. [7] Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the LORD that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
