Oh, the wisdom found in today’s verse! Why in the world do so many want to face everything alone? They think accepting help from someone or teaming up with them to do something good is a weakness. Get this notion out of your head.

You don’t have to be a “Lone Ranger.” You are so much stronger when your efforts are combined with another. The attacks that come your way can be conquered when you have that “buddy” or friend or family that’s willing to walk with you through it.

You have someone who is always ready to walk through it too. He makes up that triple braid in your rope of life. He is your shepherd and guide. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” There is nothing to be afraid of or ashamed of when relying on help from the Lord and others in your circle. It actually makes you a triple threat to the enemy.

Ecclesiastes 4:9,12 NLT

[9] Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. [12] A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
