Stick With the Plan

Whew! Life can get so messed up! We try and try, then try some more to get all our ducks in a row. Then all of a sudden one of the ducks acts up and throws us in a tailspin.

When things don’t go as planned, stop throwing the plan in the duck pond and giving up. Stick with what you know is God's plan for you. He has the best possible future lined up for you.

He doesn’t want you to be in a state of disaster. He wants to provide you with hope and protection to face any and everything. Look for those “God moments” even in the midst of those tough times. Pray without ceasing (keeping God uppermost in your mind all the time). Stay spiritually fed by taking time with Jesus and the Word. If you have to schedule it on the calendar, then do it.

Don’t become so spiritually empty that you allow yourself to become an emotional mess.

So, you say that your mornings are hectic…your time with Jesus doesn’t have to be first thing in the morning. The main thing is to take that time with Him. Maybe it would be a lunch break or in the afternoon or before bed that you spend that time, just make some time. Maybe on the way to your place of employment, you listen to good teaching.

Take that time and seek the Lord. When you do, you find Him.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 NLT

[11] For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. [12] In those days when you pray, I will listen. [13] If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
