For some people, being safe is a luxury. Most of us are so blessed to be able to live our lives in our quiet and peaceful home with very little to worry about. If we are worrying, it is our fault. There is a way to be wiser than our fear of what’s happening around us.

It is only natural to have concern when we hear of so much unrest and uncertainty. Just leaving our peaceful home to go to Walmart can cause fear if you let it. Your mind can go all sorts of places. Will someone try to hurt me like the crazy person we heard about in the news?

You can’t live in that fear. That is why it is so important to read and understand what is available to those that love the Lord. You become wiser than your enemies by following the Lord’s guidance through knowledge of His Word. You become more aware of your surroundings and can recognize when something is not quite right. In Matthew Jesus tells us to be “wise (shrewd) as snakes and harmless as doves.”.

Staying safe among the crazy of the world, requires us to be wise. Get your wisdom from the right source.

Psalm 119:98,104 NLT

[98] Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are my constant guide. [104] Your commandments give me understanding; no wonder I hate every false way of life. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
