Show Up Determined

Have you ever said about any of your kids, “this one is so strong-willed”? It usually meant that they were determined to get what they wanted. It didn’t matter how many times you told them “No”, they were gonna keep at you until they wore you down and they got what they wanted.

It might have been difficult to deal with this type of determination as a parent, but oh my goodness, what could we all learn from that type of “not giving up”? To have that kind of resolve as an adult to not be defeated in the things we face.

Sometimes it can get very difficult.

Sometimes your hearts just not in it.

Sometimes it looks daunting.

But because you have that something extra in your life, the words, “I give up!” are never spoken. You smile at the problem. You show up determined. You show up strong. You show up powerful. Your strength and power come from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 4:13 NLT

[13] For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
