Seeing Clearly

“I can see clearly now, the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way”.
Do you know what most people’s biggest obstacle is in preventing clarity in their lives? Themselves!! It shouldn’t be that way, but it is! And it is causing all kinds of failures and feelings of frustration.
We live in an “I” centered world, instead of a “Jesus” centered world.
What we continue to see is:
“This is how “I” am gonna deal with this situation, with no cares of how it hurts someone else. “I” know this will hurt you, but “I” don’t care.” See how “I” centered can destroy?
What we should be seeing:
“My desire is to reflect the love and glory of the Lord in my life. As His Spirit works within me, and I become more like Him…failures become wins and lives are changed in a positive way.
Before we became a Christian, we didn’t see things clearly. It was as if we were looking through a veil over our face. But that veil was lifted off when we accepted God’s love through Jesus. We need to reflect Him in all we do. This is being “Jesus” centered.
We should want good for others, not just ourselves. Self-occupation doesn’t allow for that. Let’s vow to enhance the lives of others. And when we do, we will see our own lives blessed as a result of being “Jesus” centered.
2 Corinthians 3:18 TLB
[18] But we Christians have no veil over our faces; we can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
