Isn’t it cool when a scripture starts out with, “Blessed are those…”? There is no “beating around the bush” and there is no “maybe try this or that”. It tells you emphatically…” you are blessed”. Doesn’t it just make sense to do what it says after those words?

Blessed are those who trust in the Lord. Blessed are those who have made the Lord their hope. Blessed are those who have made Him their confidence.

When a tree is planted close to a water source, such as a riverbank, you will notice they flourish regardless of the weather conditions. This is because their roots go deep into the water. They never stop producing fruit in all circumstances.

This is how we are to be every day, regardless of our circumstances. When we are rooted in the Lord, our strength and fruit of the Spirit comes from His life-giving source. His characteristics become our “life flow”. You are blessed and you bless others with love, joy, peace and gentleness.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 NLT

[7] "But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. [8] They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
