“Peace be still” are the words that our Jesus spoke to the waves in a turbulent storm that the disciples were in the middle of at sea. When He spoke those words, it not only calmed the storm on the sea to a whisper but also calmed the guys on the boat. The next verse says, “what a blessing was the stillness”.

You could be in the middle of a storm right now. It could be a financial storm or a physical storm or (in my opinion one of the worst) a relational storm. You don’t have to be in the middle of the ocean to face turbulence. The need for peace in your life is the greatest concern for most people.

Some would welcome the slightest whisper of peace with all that they are facing. That peace is available to anyone through Jesus. There is peace in Him. Your troubles may seem insurmountable, but peace in the middle of the trouble is available. Just as He spoke to the waves, you can speak to those waves of fear and uncertainty you face.

Here is a way to speak to the storm of fear. “Fear, you do not control me. Stay out of my life. I am a child of God. He makes a way where there seems to be no way. I am blessed with stillness and calm because He is with me and directs my path!”

Psalm 107:29-30a NLT

[29] He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves. [30a] What a blessing was that stillness. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
