We cannot live in this world, without those that are hateful and spiteful. As long as there is an evil devil, there will always be something stirred up around us. We just don’t have to get caught up in it. Sure there is hate, and maybe even pointed at you, but you don’t have to respond in kind to their hateful rhetoric.

I love the way it is said in “TPT”. “Do something wonderful for the ones who hate you!” I think that means actually doing something nice for them…not JUST praying for them. (Still pray but also do.)

This reveals to all that you are different because you responded differently than expected. This will be in keeping with what Jesus taught. God doesn’t just give good and honest people sunshine and rain when they need it…He also gives it to those that don’t live in the right way.

I’m not saying it is easy to show love to those that have wronged us, but that really doesn’t even matter. What matters is being like our Heavenly Father and loving them anyway. Praying for them instead of cursing them. Doing the unexpected instead of jabbing them back.

Matthew 5:44-45 TPT

[44] However, I say to you, love your enemy, bless the one who curses you, do something wonderful for the one who hates you, and respond to the very ones who persecute you by praying for them. [45] For that will reveal your identity as children of your heavenly Father. He is kind to all by bringing the sunrise to warm and rainfall to refresh whether a person does what is good or evil. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
