Today is the birth date of our wonderful country. It is a date for celebrating the greatest country on earth with fireworks, family, food, fun and freedom. That “freedom” we celebrate is why so many look to America as their “light on a hill”.

This freedom hasn’t arrived at our doorstep without the sacrifice of many willing to step up and defend her. It is beyond me why so many want to come here due to the freedoms we have and yet want to change her into what they came from. Makes no sense.

I look outside my window and see my patriotic pillows in my rockers and my American flag gently blowing in the breeze and I am so thankful.

*Thankful to God for loving me regardless of my mistakes or failures.

*Thankful that I was born in the USA into a loving family.

*Thankful that hate is not in my heart.

*Thankful that I was taught to be truthful in all my dealings with others.

*Thankful I know who and what I believe.

*Thankful I live in freedom.

*Thankful to have God’s book of instructions, the Bible.

Psalm 119:43-45 ERV

[43] Let me always say what is true. I depend on your judgment to be fair. [44] I will follow your teachings forever and ever. [45] So I will live in freedom, because I do my best to know your instructions. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
