Life With No Regrets

We’ve heard it said all our lives, “life is precious” and “life is short”. It was brought home to me again today at the funeral of my 39-year-old nephew. We take so much for granted in our lives.
We seem to think we have all the time in the world to make those calls or tell our loved ones we care. You are living in a fantasy world if you believe you are not affected by your actions. When you hurt others through your words and/or actions, you are planting a seed of hurt and there will be a reaping at some point. Don’t let time slip by causing you to live with regrets of “not trying” to make things good with others.
I desire to always live my life with no regrets. No “pay-backs”. No “wish-I-had ofs”. No “if-onlys”. I want to nail this thing called life. I want to treat everyone with love and as much kindness as I possibly can. If I mess up, I want it to be on the caring side. I would rather be hurt than to hurt anyone else.
We are Gods masterpiece. That person that you are refusing to have a relationship with, is also loved by God. We were created as “new people” in Jesus Christ when we made a decision to follow Him. Part of that following is “doing good things!” That was the plan a long time ago and still is the plan. We should love others the way God does.
Ephesians 2:10 NLT
[10] For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. #paulaandthebible
