I remember the first time I saw “IYKYK” on Facebook. I thought, “what in the world?” I had no clue what was trying to be said. It seemed like a deep secret. No one had given me a hint as to the meaning. The reason I didn’t understand, was it hadn’t been revealed to me in any way. I had to search it out and see what that exactly meant for myself.

The same is true in understanding the scriptures. Many don’t understand what is being said, because they have never been exposed to the gospel in a way that has made it personal. Since they don’t have a personal relationship with the Lord…everything seems hidden and hard to understand.

But, when you have His Spirit living inside of you (from that personal relationship), a light begins to come on because you are not just using your own intellect, you are understanding with His Spirit (the mind of Christ).

I can read a verse in the Bible and see something differently than I had previously seen, because I am searching and asking for answers. I am never disappointed when I seek out the answer to a specific problem and find it.

I think it is so cool to realize I don’t have to be super smart to understand the Bible and His plans for my life. Having the “mind of Christ” as my teacher, is the bomb! IYKYK.

1 Corinthians 2:10,16 NLT

[10] But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God's deep secrets. [16] For, "Who can know the LORD's thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?" But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
