Hope for Heartache

We’ve all had some heartache come our way at times in our lives. It comes in the form of some sort of loss or hurt. Believe me when I say, I’ve had my share, and it sucks. It is tough when you are going through something heartbreaking to see any sort of silver lining at the time.

We have to prepare ourselves ahead of time for anything, because we are truly being attacked by the evil forces in this world. These attacks are meant to bring us down to their level and we have to be ready to resist them with all that is within us. This is why we should remind ourselves in the midst of a trial, “This too shall pass!” The devil is not stronger than what is living on the inside of you. Always remember, “Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

Now this sorrow or heartbreak that you are in the middle of in the present, it is not forever (only if you let it be). God has made some promises to each of us, and He keeps His word.

God has promised:

Beauty for ashes.

Joy for mourning.

Praise for despair.

Greatness in the Lord.

Replace those heartaches with the blessed hope we find in Jesus, our refuge.

Isaiah 61:3 NLT

[3] To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the LORD has planted for his own glory. #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
