Help Comes from the Lord

The words to an old Beatles song, “Help”, give an example of where many of us find ourselves today.
“Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate your being 'round
Help me get my feet back on the ground
Won't you please, please, help me?”
We look for help and answers for the things we are facing every day. Maybe the ones you thought you could depend on have disappeared. There is someone always available to help. He has promised to never leave you or forsake you. He is your protector wherever you go. He never directs you wrong. He holds you up so that you don’t stumble or take a wrong turn.
When you “look up” for the answer you are wanting for a need, be sure to look past the hills or mountains and go straight to the Lord. Pray for guidance and use the Bible as your “go-to” as well as those who faithfully follow the Bible (correctly).
Always remember that God wants good for you. This is why listening to the right people is so important. Not everyone wants you to succeed. God does. You can recognize when someone is not wanting the best for you. “Listen” to how they say things, their words give them away. The Lords words are a lamp; their words are a flashlight without batteries…empty and no help.
Psalm 121:1-3,8 CEV
[1] I look to the hills! Where will I find help? [2] It will come from the LORD, who created the heavens and the earth. [3] The LORD is your protector, and he won't go to sleep or let you stumble. [8] The LORD will protect you now and always wherever you go.
