Have You Grown Up?

In today's reading we witness a Roman officer that believed in the healing power of Jesus. He knew all it took was for Jesus to say the word and his servant would be healed.

This kind of faith even impressed Jesus who said, “I haven’t seen faith like this in all of Israel!” Because the officer had such unshakable faith, and because he believed in the power that was in Jesus…health was brought to someone he cared about at the moment of his request.

Do you have that kind of faith and confidence in what you have as a believer? The Holy Spirit resides within you, and you are promised that you will do the works of Jesus and even greater works. You can defeat doubt and unbelief with assurance and belief in the One who is your victory in all things.

How awesome is it to know that even when the devil tries to attack you, even when those attacks come in all forms…he has NO hold over you. Don’t allow him to mess with your peace. Have such great faith that would draw others to Jesus. Have believing faith that impresses even Jesus.
