Good Judgement with Others

Sometimes it is difficult to know who you can trust. This is why you need wisdom that comes from God.
When you are determined to do something for God, something that actually helps and doesn’t harm, you will more than likely have push back from others. This is especially true if what you are doing “messes up their apple cart.”
There are evil people out there in this world that want nothing to do with anything that is good and right. Their joy comes from being able to distort the truth and thwart anything positive. They may have flowery words and convincing rhetoric but beware of them. Stay in that “pray without ceasing” mode and know your enemy.
Nehemiah is a great example of “knowing the enemy”. When he started the rebuilding of the wall around Jerusalem, there were those that tried to stop it and used every trick in the book to do so. He recognized their trickery, not because he was so smart (although he was), but because he stayed in constant contact with God. His enemy's determination only made him even more determined to finish what he started in Jerusalem.
Use good judgement when dealing with those around you. Don’t allow yourself to get caught up in the “smoke and mirrors” of trickery and intimidation. Stay in contact with your Heavenly Father through prayer and the wisdom of the scriptures.
Nehemiah 6:8-9 NLT
[8] I replied, "There is no truth in any part of your story. You are making up the whole thing." [9] They were just trying to intimidate us, imagining that they could discourage us and stop the work. So I continued the work with even greater determination.
