Imagine having to fill the shoes of Moses. What sort of things do you suppose were going through Joshua’s mind? He could’ve been feeling, Insecurity. Fear. Lack of confidence. Nervous stomach. Emotional turmoil.

What if he had given up before he even tried? What if he hadn’t taken what God said to him to heart?

God knew that he would have a mixture of emotions when facing the daunting task of leading the Israelites. Joshua had seen the stubbornness of the people and needed what God said to him in today’s scripture.

I don’t know what you are facing today that has you tied up in knots, but I know that God is there. Just as surely as He was there for Moses and Joshua, He is there for you. He is willing and able to stand with you. He will not desert or fail you. He will not abandon you.

*If you are facing tragedy, He is there.

*If you are grieving, He is there.

*If you are tired, He is there.

*If you have family issues, He is there.

*If you feel abandoned, He is there.

*If you feel hopeless, He is there.

God is there to comfort and give you peace. When you are weak, “He is strong”. He will “supply all your needs” according to His riches.

He is also there and celebrates with you in your victories…those moments that bring joy and courage. He is with you wherever we go.

Having the assurance that you are not alone in this thing called life, should give you the courage to never give up. You can be strong and courageous in all things, because He IS your strength.

Joshua 1:5,9 NLT

[5] No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you. [9] This is my command-be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." #paulaandthebible #helpforyourdailywalk
