Caring Father

I know that some of you cannot relate to having a caring father. I am so sorry that you have been treated wrongly over the years. At this point I pray that you will see this was a choice made by a flawed person and wasn’t Gods plan for you.
This devotional is to all the fathers to help them in understanding how important it is to be an overall good guy. It is not something that just happens. It is sought after. First and foremost a relationship based on God's love and His son, Jesus, is the main thing. Without that, you dads are just “winging” it and some are failing miserably. It is time to man up; take responsibility for your actions and raise those entrusted to your care in the way you should.
I was blessed to have a dad that showed his love and care for me in so many ways. Because of that, I can take to heart what the scripture today is saying. “God cared for you as a father cares for his child…”
To you dads out there that are following the admonition from the Lord to “raise up a child in the way he should go”. Keep it up. Keep following Him and seeking His leading. Keep being a “good guy”. If you have failed in this area, God can change the hardest of hearts and restore relationships that seem “unfixable”!
Let your home be a home of love, caring and guidance.
Deuteronomy 1:31 NLT
[31] And you saw how the LORD your God cared for you all along the way as you traveled through the wilderness, just as a father cares for his child. Now he has brought you to this place.'
