Many people have every intention to follow through with their promises but miss the mark. Having good intentions is not enough.

A great quote, “People with good intentions make promises, but people with good character keep them". Where do you fall within the above quote?

Today’s scripture goes a step further and says it is better to just keep our mouths shut rather than make a promise we are not going to keep.

Be a person of your word. That is what builds character and trust.

Ecclesiastes 5:5 NLT

[5] It is better to say nothing than to make a promise and not keep it.
